Social Media Usage and Risks

Over the last few months students across North Somerset have been analysing their own social media use and the risks it poses to their own online safety.  They have demonstrated their fantastic knowledge and amazing creativity by writing and producing podcasts on the subject.  With over 45 entries submitted, these are the best of the best – enjoy!

Things you need to know:

• Voting opened on Friday 17th May at 7am.
• There are 9 brilliant finalists in total – please listen to as many of them as you can and then cast a vote for your favourite.
• So that no finalist gains an unfair advantage, the podcasts will appear in a different order each time you visit this page.
• You will need to provide an email address in order to cast a vote – in order to comply with GDPR, all email addresses will be deleted from our system within 7 days of the end of the voting period.
• Please check your junk folder for a confirmation email.
• You can cast one vote every 24 hours.
• The winner was the school with the most votes when voting closed at 5pm on Thursday 23rd May.
